UMJ on the occasion of their 27th Annual Award Function'16 honours Mr Haroon H. Gheta with the Life Time Achievement Award for his selfless services offered in the field of philanthropy, education and upliftment of the community.
Mr Haroon H. Gheta's body of work;
- In textile manufacturing and powerloom and sizing works in Bhiwandi.
- Known as the COTTON KING in Bhiwandi.
- President of Sizing assotiation since its inception till the association lasted.
- President 'Bhiwandi Memon Jamat' founder and leaded for 16 long years.
- President 'Upleta Memon Jamat' founder and leaded for 8 years.
- Treasurer for KMES (Konkan Muslim Education Society) bhiwandi and served for 27 long years.
- Patron member for KMES till date.
- AIMF (All India Memon Federation) managing committee member for 25 years.
- Various other forms of Philanthropy activities all over India.
